From July 21 to 24, 2026, the Belarusian city of Rechitsa hosted the first stage of the Biathlon Federation Cup for the 2026/2027 season.
The young participants had a truly peak season, as, in addition to the hot weather in the southern region, they had to determine the fastest and most accurate athlete in an unrivaled battle. As a reminder, the competition featured boys and girls born between 2008 and 2015 years of birth, demonstrating their skills in cross-biathlon (mass start and mixed relay) with air rifle shooting.
For several days, Rechitsa became the center of youth biathlon, and, of course, it welcomed its guests warmly and cordially.
The Biathlon Federation Cup is a unique project that allows children from a young age to immerse in the atmosphere of elite sport. The competition is organized like a World Cup stage: awards ceremonies, post-race flash interviews, live broadcasts, and competition for both individual and team standings.
The anniversary season is especially symbolic: the current leaders among the older age groups (16-17 years old) were only 6-7 years old when the tournament first appeared, and they literally grew up with it.
The first stage in Rechitsa set a high bar for the entire anniversary season, and the young athletes now have further winter stages in Gorodok to determine the overall winner of the 2026/2027 Belarusian Biathlon Federation Cup.
Calendar:
Stage 2: January 6–9, 2027 — Gorodok (winter biathlon);
Stage 3: March 3–6, 2027 — Gorodok (winter biathlon).
